yers+Chang describes itself as a dim sum diner, though there aren’t a lot of diners that have mirrored walls and dragons on their windows. Husband-and-wife and Myers+Chang owners Christopher Myers and Joanne Chang both went to Harvard—Chang for applied math and economics, Myers for a literature PhD. She got her degree. He got bored. They met working at Rialto in Cambridge. Chang also ran every Boston Marathon from 1991 to 2006.
