Better yet, the tour is of Taza, the only producer in America of 100 percent stone-ground organic chocolate, roasted and wrapped by hand. And, yes, the one-hour tour includes samples. Taza buys its criollo and trinitario chocolate directly from small producers in the Dominican Republic, Bolivia, Mexico, and Belize, and its sugar from a company in Brazil that uses the waste cane fiber to generate electricity for its factory and the surrounding town.
