arvard kids are pretty smart, so when they decide on a good pizza place, they probably know what they’re doing. And the pizza stop that Harvard students have been going to for more than 30 years is Pinocchio’s in Harvard Square. It’s hidden away off the main streets, but you can find it by its bright red door. The pizzeria offers both traditional Neapolitan and Sicilian pizza, an exercise of opposites. The Neapolitan is crispy, with a thin crust, and not oily since it uses mozzarella cheese. The Sicilian is a thick, soft, doughy square oozing with cheese. Prefer a sub? Try the steak bomb, with cheese, mushroom, pepper, and everything else. All are good here. Just don’t plan on eating in ‘Noch’s tiny, noisy dining room, which is generally packed with undergrads. Burns
