Wing Nuts

This out-of-the-way pub is serious about its wings.

hen you hear something referred to as “the best” it’s often an exaggeration. Unless the subject is the wings at Buff’s Pub. They’re thick and juicy and smothered in buffalo sauce (there are other flavors, too, but what’s the point?) that strikes the perfect balance between heat and flavor. Order them with a side of onion rings, which are always cut thick, perfectly breaded, and just greasy enough. It’s all served up with good, cold beer in the unassuming atmosphere of an after-work watering hole with friendly patrons and employees surrounded by TVs and beer posters. Burns

Buffalo wings were invented at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo in 1964 as a late-night snack when the only thing left in the kitchen was chicken wings, which were usually tossed out.
