s the seasons change and New Englanders complain about the weather, something else changes, too—the menu at Kitchen on Common. The menu here, which uses only local ingredients, is constantly in flux. Some items are available year round, like the sausage, kale, and potato soup and the white bean burger with arugula served on a brioche roll. Others, including the farfalle served with zucchini, summer squash, and tomatoes or the pan-seared Arctic char with spring vegetable ragout are seasonal. The restaurant is BYOB—and there’s a wine store next door if you forget. Leccese
