ome of Boston’s best views are from a museum—and we’re not talking about the art. The Institute for Contemporary Art, perched on Boston Harbor, is wrapped in floor-to-ceiling windows that give the design an open translucence, and a great view of the city from the Founders Gallery or of the water from the coffee shop or the Poss Family Mediatheque. The ICA is open until 9 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, with free admission from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursdays. Admission is always free for local college students.
