A Cape Cod food truck worth following

T

he next time you enjoy a round at Sandwich Mini Golf, make sure you bring your appetite. No, you won’t need to drive downtown for a bite to eat: Heidi Plaso will be happy to serve you sizzling falafel and fish tacos from the window of her gourmet food truck, Fiddlestix. Also try the teriyaki served over sticky coconut rice, and the lobster tempura special. If she’s not there, don’t panic. You can probably find her at the Sandwich Boardwalk, or at an arts or music festival. The only problem is catching her on the right day, but the locals know to check Facebook and Twitter for her location updates. O’Brien

The first food truck was the chuckwagon, invented by Charles Goodnight, which fed cowboys on cattle drives.
