hether it’s the eclectic music or the special festivities, expect anything at P.A’s Lounge. (The place was previously a bar, a seafood restaurant, and a Portuguese-American lounge—hence the “P.A.”) It may not look like much from the outside, but several nights a week this fun, family-owned hipster hangout hosts local and national artists (Arcade Fire played here before they were famous) of any genre, from folk to metal to electronic to punk. P.A.’s is also home to several peculiar and popular events, including a ginger food festival and the annual rock, paper, scissors tournament. Regular events include open-mic nights on Tuesdays and Ladies (lesbian) Night. And if nothing’s going on, have a well-priced drink and enjoy the cozy, folksy atmosphere. Graves
