I
t may have been opened by a couple of guys from Belmont, but Mass Apparel is no J Crew. It’s the storefront retail location of the clothing brand started by Lucas Fernandes and Nick Urciuolo, with unique printed T-shirts and sweatshirts plus fashion from other designers. The most popular item? Socks, with screen-printed Red Bull and Game Boy logos. The shop also carries work by young local artists like graffiti-style pieces by Mark Millett and eye-catching light boxes by Tinsley Hammond. Leccese
Khakis were invented to help the British Army blend in blandly with their surroundings, rather than stick out in those unfortunate redcoats.
