A sandwich shack where you least expect it

t’s hard to find the Earl of Sandwich, hidden as it is in a onetime public restroom in the middle of the Boston Common. But it’s worth the hunt. Not only is the location intriguing and unique; so are the sandwiches, served on toasted bread and made with signature ingredients including horseradish, Roma tomatoes, and roasted meats. The hot sandwiches are especially good on chilly mornings when you’re strolling through the park. Top ’em off with the hot chocolate or coffee. Early bird? Shhh: Earl of Sandwich also is open for breakfast. Roh
