ucked away between some nondescript apartment buildings, May’s Fusion and Cuisine is easy to miss. But you’ll never pass it by again once you try its food. Healthy, nutritious, and filling fare alone all make this tiny, earth-toned café worth seeking out, but it’s homestyle Taiwanese like you’ve never tried before (if you’ve tried Taiwanese at all) in a welcoming environment. The owner, May Pan, handles the front of the shop herself, mixing up sweet fruit smoothies and chatting with customers over the sizzle of their food being prepared behind her.
