ar from toney Newbury Street, in a neighborhood of high-rise office buildings, is an extraordinary fragrance shop, the Perfume Corner. The store has more brands and scents than many much pricier shops, with great deals—buy one, get one free, on one side of the store on occasion, for example. And this is not flawed or closeout merchandise. It’s imported French bubble bath and eucalyptus-scented lotions, designer bath balls, and body polishes. Because it’s such a secret, you’ll often have the shop to yourself, along with its knowledgeable owner. Horton
