T
he Café Riverview is more than a restaurant: it’s a classroom. Hidden among quaint gift shops, antique stores, and cottages, the café is run by the Riverview School as a vocational laboratory for students with learning disabilities. The menu offers breakfast and lunch items, including baked goods, sandwiches and paninis—all prepared and served by Riverview students, who are sure to greet you with a smile and mean it when they ask you whether you enjoyed your meal. Plus, it’s one of few places in Sandwich that serves a killer chai latte. O’Brien
