oston has always been America’s most Euro-centric town, in spite of that little disagreement with the British back at the beginning. And the French Cultural Center is the home away from home for expats and a genteel throwback to the long, fawning admiration of some Bostonians for many things French. It boasts the second-largest private French library in America and offers lectures in both French and English, concerts, cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, and language classes. It also has an art collection open to the public, including political posters from World War II.
