A fun place to taste Nantucket's home-grown booze

isco Brewery is a triple treat, home to the not only the brewery, but also the Triple 8 Distillery, and Nantucket Vineyard wines. But what many people don’t know is that you can hang out here and sample the goods. Take a seat (in the open air, when the weather’s warm) and choose your booze, with an order for a local microbrew, some wine, or creative Triple 8 cocktails such as blueberry or gazpacho-infused vodka. There are new specials every day, with beautiful views of the surrounding farmland, great vibes and unusually enthusiastic (for Nantucket) service. There’s not much in the way of food, but you’re encouraged to bring your own. Or you can just pick up a bottle or four to enjoy at home. Clements

Nantucket Vineyard actually imports its grapes from upstate New York and the West Coast, having discovered that the island was a tough place to grow them.
