Hidden down a narrow driveway that the unassuming tourist would miss, the farm stand has been a neighborhood secret since the 1930s. You’ll find corn on the cob and other vegetables, but also apples, pears, and peaches from the orchards, homemade pies and flavored honey sticks, and fresh-made blueberry and cranberry bread. O’Brien
The Crowell family, which has owned Crow Farm since 1916 and opened the farmstand there in the 1930s, is a longtime and prodigious Cape Cod clan whose name was originally spelled “Crowe,” and which included at least 15 ship captains, all descended from John Crower (1590-1673) or Yelverton Crowell (1620-1683).
