An unassuming venue for great indie music

ven after it replaced the landmark Harpers Ferry, the Brighton Music Hall kept the low-key, battered look of the club that preceded it for four decades. It’s a perfect venue for the indie musicians who are making Allston a music magnet. The 340-person-capacity BMH presents up-and-coming buzz bands every night without inducing claustrophobia. There’s room to play some pool in the back room or hang out at one of the well-stocked bars if you’re too hip to jump in the mosh pit. Modica

Owned by Boston concert king Don Law and booked by Opera House Ventures and Live Nation talent buyer Ryan Vangel, the Brighton Music Hall is a feeder for the Paradise and House of Blues.
