here can you walk from Texas to Mexico without a hassle at the border? In Allston, of course, where an authentic Mexican bar and grill is neighbor to an authentic Texas one. The sister bar to Deep Ellum, Lone Star serves a wide selection of tacos, including the barbacoa taco with braised brisket, red cabbage, and peppers. It even has Mexican street corn, slathered in a cotija cheese sauce. No bland, touristy knockoffs here; this is the real stuff. Wash it down with any of 60 types of tequilas and mezcals.
