aised in Duxbury, rock guitarist and songwriter Juliana Hatfield was introduced to punk rock by a babysitter and by 19 was part of the band Blake Babies, soon signing with Mammoth Records and touring the United States and Europe. Her first solo album, Hey Babe, was one of 1992’s best sellers and the song “My Sister” from the album Become What You Are (and, later, Gold Stars) became an MTV staple and went to Number 1 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart. She lives in Cambridge. Stefano
