Eggs-ellent

Have some pop-culture fun with your breakfast.

he Breakfast Club is not only a beloved ’80s teen flick. It’s also a diner that serves up “library specials” inspired by the movie, including “the dork” (two eggs any styles with home fries and toast) and “the jock” (egg-white omelet with veggies and wheat toast). But the prize of the menu is “the princess,” a not-to-be-missed, sinful combination of golden Belgian waffles, sweet strawberries, and fluffy whipped cream—the perfect dish with which to pay homage to Molly Ringwald’s prom-queen character. Tasting more like a dessert than any breakfast ought to, it’s the ideal indulgence to enjoy while Rick Springfield’s “Jesse’s Girl” plays in the background. Medoff
