Where to enjoy some rattlesnake for dinner
S
errano-infused rattlesnake meat served with jalapeno-mango-hazelnut puree is just one of the eclectic dishes that chef Brian Poe creates at Poe’s Kitchen at the Rattlesnake. From fish tacos and taco salads (above) to wild boar, the diverse choices reflect Poe’s passion for travel and exotic foods. There are weekly specials and a hearty brunch. When weather permits, climb up to the patio, where you might find Poe harvesting produce and herbs from the garden. On weekends, Poe’s Kitchen transforms into a dance club with house and Latin music, on Fridays and Saturdays, respectively. Top the weekend off with a Snake Punch—one of Poe’s specialty cocktails.
