elax to the soothing Arabic religious music streaming from the hallway as you bite into a hearty Sabrina sandwich or spinach and cheese croissant at Common Word Café, a halal restaurant just opposite the prayer room inside the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center. Everything on the short menu (there are four styles of sandwiches) adheres to Islamic food conventions, and the relaxing space fills with both mosque-goers and students from the neighboring Roxbury Community College.
