antucket phenoms Seth and Angela Raynor’s Pearl restaurant is pretty much impossible to get into. The secret is that the Raynors also operate the more casual Boarding House next door, with a mostly Asian- and Mediterranean-inspired menu of seafood and local produce—and a way, way shorter wait for a table. There’s also a busy bar, outdoor seating, and a wine list that features organic labels. After dark, this is where the staffs of other restaurants come to party. Oh, and for the other local fave: the cinnamon-sugar doughnut dessert, served with melted chocolate.
Among its patrons, the Boarding House has attracted chefs including Daniel Boulud (Cafe Boulud), Eric Ripert (Le Bernardin), Michael Schlow (Radius), and Ming Tsai.
Memorial Day through Columbus Day, Monday through Friday, 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
