idden among some loading docks is a little slice of Denmark. The Danish Pastry House makes authentic Danish chocolates, cakes, and pastries, including the one with which Americans are most familiar. In fact, it’s not the Danish but the kringle, a flaky and buttery almond pastry, that is the most popular item here. You’ll also find specialty cakes to order, including the Othello cake, a vanilla cake with almond macaroon crumble and raspberry jam layers covered in chocolate ganache and topped with rolled marzipan.
