The little ice-cream shop tucked among a handful of storefronts near Boston College has that nostalgia that pretty much appeals to everybody. The signs reading “homemade” are no exaggeration. Owner Peter Coufos designs and churns his own flavors using fresh New England cream and other regional ingredients that change with the seasons. The hidden treasure here is the apple pie ice cream with cinnamon and chunks of fresh apple mixed right in.
