hopping at Oona’s feels like you’re snooping in someone’s closet. One of the last stores from Cambridge’s vintage heyday, it displays its wares in antique wardrobes with other miscellanea, from books to cameras to vases, all for sale and arranged by owner Ellie Mueller, who once designed film sets. She says she likes to show the clothes in their natural habitat. Twardzik

Among the celebrity customers who have managed to find Oona’s over the last four decades: Elizabeth Taylor, Jacquelyn Kennedy, John Malkovich, Natalie Portman, Peter Wolk, Stephen Tyler, and John Lennon and Yoko Ono, who bought vintage Hawaiian shirts.
