A Real Housewife dishes out some secrets

efore she became one of the Real Housewives of New York City, celebrity natural-food chef Bethenny Frankel began her culinary career in Boston, where she went to BU. What began as hobby has now become an empire, with the bestselling book Naturally Thin, an appearance on The Apprentice: Martha Stewart, her own line of low-fat foods, a monthly column in Health magazine, and even her own drink: the Skinnygirl Martini (it’s made with clear tequila, lime juice, a splash of Triple Sec, and a dash of agave nectar and comes to 100 calories—about the same as a glass of wine). We got Frankel to dish about her Boston favorites:

1

Dinner in the North End. Joe Tecce’s is my spot. Villa Francesca is also a great hideaway.

2

I think Ken Oringer’s Toro serves some of the best meals you could ever eat.

3

J.P. Licks frozen yogurt was an obsession.

4

Any restaurant or club by Seth Greenberg is going to be hip.

5

Divino on Newbury Street. Shopping on Newbury is the best.

6

Oddly, I like feeling touristy in Faneuil Hall.
