he Boston Burger Company might attract its fair share of celebrities, if they could find it in its off-the-beaten-track Davis Square side-street location. Elvis would be impressed with the King Burger, which features peanut butter, bacon, and fried bananas. Rachael Ray did manage to track down the place and gave a thumbs up to the Hot Mess Burger, topped with sweet-potato fries and a tangy thousand-island dressing. Now you, too, know where to feed your celebrity-like cravings for burgers like the Mac Attack (topped with bacon and four-cheese macaroni) and the Kitchen Sink (featuring a fried egg and veggies). There’s also a lengthy sandwich and salad menu if you want to slide past the paparazzi without grease all over your shirt. Hansen

Davis Square is named for a person named Person Davis, a grain dealer and selectman who owned a 10-acre estate on the site in the late 1800s.
