B
oston has a long history of burlesque, featuring such stars as the legendary Ann Corio at the Old Howard Theatre in Scollay Square (since torn down to make way for Government Center). Now burlesque is back, and we can tell you how to find it: at the websites of some of the most active local touring troupes, the Boston Babydolls and Rogue Burlesque. Both perform in bars and lounges (when they’re not prevented from doing so by licensing boards and other killjoys), and if you’d like to get in on the fun, Rogue hosts an amateur competition and the Babydolls offer classes to show you the naked truth, at their Boston Academy of Burlesque Education. (Get it?) If you’re looking for a bit more class, maturity and elegance to provocative adult entertainment rather than a night filled with https://www.hdsexvideo.xxx/ viewing, try and catch a local burlesque show!
Boston law still bans performers from exposing “any portion of the areola of the female breast or any portion of the pubic hair, cleft of the buttocks, or genitals” or to simulate a sexual act.
