frica may be a very, very big continent, but the place to get a taste of it is a very, very small restaurant. Lucy Ethiopian Café makes up for its size with a huge welcome, however. You’ll find not only traditional cuisine, but discover Ethiopian artwork and learn some Ethiopian vocabulary. The food is healthy—much of it is vegetarian—and inexpensive, and if it’s your first time trying Ethiopian cuisine, the accommodating staff will guide you every step of the way. Make sure to try the drinks, including traditional coffee and peanut tea. Every weekend, Lucy’s coffee ceremony demonstrates the process of brewing Ethiopian coffee, complete with traditional costumes. Graves

Lucy is the name given to the skeleton (Australopithecus afarensis), found in 1974 Ethiopia, of a woman who lived 3.2 million years ago, at the time the oldest human remains ever found. She walked upright, but had a small brain capacity, showing that humans learned to walk on two legs before their brain size increased.
